A joint meeting for the chambers of commerce between Chinese mainland and Macao was held in Macao on October 20.
Addressing the meeting, Vice Chairman of China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) Zhang Shenfeng said that the joint meeting has served as an important information exchange platform for the chambers of commerce of Chinese mainland and Macao.
Zhang added that the year of 2019 marks the 20th anniversary for the Chinese government to have assumed formal sovereignty over Macau as a special administrative region (SAR). CCPIT is willing to closely cooperate with relevant agencies in Macao to implement favorable policies, to endorse diversified development of Macao economy and to assist Macao in the construction of Gaungdong, Macao and Hong Kong Greater Bay Area.
Representatives from Macao Trade and Investment Promotion Institute and Macao Chamber of Commerce attended the joint meeting.
