On November 11th, the Inner Mongolia-Shenzhen Economic and Trade Matching Exchange Conference was held in Shenzhen. At the conference, officials from relevant departments including the Industrial and Commercial Federation of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, the Department of Commerce, the Shenzhen Office, the Shenzhen Industrial and Commercial Federation, the Industrial and Commercial Federation of Huhehaote City, Ulanqab City, Bayannur City, Dalaite Banner Government, etc. successively introduced the situation. During the conference period, the delegation of entrepreneurs from Inner Mongolia also conducted field investigations at Skyworth Group and Yanxun Group to get a close look at the innovative concepts and development vitality of Shenzhen enterprises.

This event is a return visit by the Inner Mongolia side after the October Shenzhen economic and trade investigation team visited Inner Mongolia for exchanges. Previously, the Private Enterprises into the Border Areas · Deep-Meng Joint Development Shenzhen - Inner Mongolia Economic and Trade Exchange Matching Meeting was held in Huhehaote jointly hosted by the Industrial and Commercial Federation of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region and the Shenzhen Industrial and Commercial Federation. Representatives from 31 world's top 500 companies and China's top 500 private enterprises from Shenzhen, including Huawei, DJI, Honor, Skyworth, etc. inspected and exchanged cooperation in various fields such as new energy, high-end manufacturing, digital economy, modern agriculture, technology, etc. in Inner Mongolia. On the same day, Gao Ziming, Deputy Secretary-General and Deputy Director of the Standing Committee of the Shenzhen People's Congress, and Pei Lei, Member of the Standing Committee of the Shenzhen People's Congress and Deputy Director, led a group to Inner Mongolia to investigate how people's congresses can precisely empower the construction of modern industrial systems. From the northern grasslands to the southern shores of the South China Sea, since October, Inner Mongolia and Shenzhen have been visiting each other intensively. From the characteristics of both places, Shenzhen is a frontline of reform while Inner Mongolia is a region rich in resources.

Judging from the areas of connection, it is not difficult to see that both sides intend to join hands in serving the overall national development strategy, play to their strengths to strengthen their comparative advantages, drive industrial upgrading through innovation, and activate development momentum with an open mindset. Since the 14th Five-Year Plan period began, Inner Mongolia has focused on cultivating and expanding industrial clusters and key industrial chains. The total industrial economy has exceeded the trillion yuan mark. The dairy industry, rare earths, new materials, and modern coal chemical industry have been selected as national advanced manufacturing clusters. The annual growth rate of added value of large-scale high-tech manufacturing industries and strategic emerging industries in the whole region has achieved double-digit growth on average.

At the same time, Inner Mongolia continues to optimize its business environment in terms of land, logistics, technology, public services, etc. providing a broad stage for businesses investing in Inner Mongolia. As a frontier of China's reform and opening up and a fertile ground for entrepreneurship and innovation, Shenzhen has attracted many entrepreneurs of Inner Mongolian descent to start businesses locally and has also attracted several prefectures and cities in Inner Mongolia to successively enter Shenzhen to hold brand promotion conferences. Cooperation between the two regions in manufacturing, technology, agriculture, culture tourism and other fields continues to flourish with renewed vigor. Participants expressed that they will leverage their respective advantages to focus on traditional industry transformation, emerging industry expansion, future industry layout, while simultaneously boosting investment consumption and promoting quality upgrades in economic and trade cooperation.
