At 10:30 a.m. on December 31, 2020, with the "Qilu" sounding the departure siren, 41 Eurasian trains (Linyi Vietnam) loaded with glass crafts, department stores and other small commodities slowly drove out of Linyi JITIE logistics park, marking a solid and powerful step in the deep integration of economic development between Linyi City and the ten ASEAN countries.
The first "Qilu" Eurasian train (Linyi Vietnam) is composed of 41 full train containers. It starts from Linyi JITIE logistics park of zhubao railway station in Linyi, passes Pingxiang border station in Guangxi, and ends in Hanoi, Vietnam. The whole journey is about 3000 km. It is a fast railway connecting Linyi, the largest trade and logistics capital in northern China, and ASEAN Free Trade Area Freight train. It is reported that the first train was strongly supported by the Municipal Railway Civil Aviation Center, the Municipal Finance Bureau, Linyi train depot, Linyi customs, China Railway Ji'nan branch, and Linyi JITIE logistics park. One belt, one road, was introduced by Yang Yanjun, deputy director of the Linyi Railway Civil Aviation Center. In 2020, the central and Central Asian countries have opened the more than 100 trains, and effectively promoted the local socio-economic development, and promoted Linyi's active integration into the "one belt and one road" regional cooperation.
The opening of the train connects the state key logistics hub and ASEAN Free Trade Area, which has important practical significance for promoting and developing the economic and trade relations with Southeast Asia, strengthening the trade logistics industry, and promoting the local industrial upgrading and social and economic development.
