December 8, 2017 (Linyi China)–Workers are busying themselves in constructing the infrastructures of Linyi International Trade & Business City in the cold; achievements of an automobile touring exhibition are still in display at Linyi International Expo Center; on the north of the expo center, hot work for Linyi Trade City Blue Horizon Hotel is in progress. Scene shows burgeoning vitality of the under construction project Linyi International Trade & Business City, which situates across three road named 12th Linxi Road, 6th Jucai Road and 8th Jucai Road in Linyi City, east China’s Shandong Province.
After over 30 -years’ development, 134 wholesale markets have grown up in Linyi Trade City. During this process, core areas of trade and business have been keeping moving westward for the reason of upgrading and reconstruction, thereby a new trade and logistics center has been set up. base on this, a new core area for trade markets -- Linyi International Trade & Business City -- is planned to be built up. According to the newly issued plan Overall Plans and Spatial Arrangement for Linyi Trade City (2016-2030), new concept One Core with Nine Clusters was put forth. For explanation, the One Core refers to Linyi International Trade & Business City which covers an area of 15 square kilometers.
As the driving force in transformation and upgrading for Linyi Trade City, Linyi International Trade & Business City is planned to be a comprehensive trial zone for transformation from eliminated energy to new energy, and an experimental zone for integrated internal and foreign trade attached to Belt & Road Initiative. based on the core function of modern services focus on international trade and business, the new trading city under construction will provide a variety of services including modern logistics, electric commerce, headquarter economy, supporting facilities, etc..
By and large, Linyi International Trade & Business City is designed to be a core area to implement the strategy of internationalization, a service center for modern trade and business, and a demonstration zone to develop high-quality environment for both living and trading.
