Since 2013, with the strong support of relevant national ministries and commissions, our province has successively been approved and built into Dunhuang air port, Lanzhou railway port, comprehensive protection zone of Lanzhou New Area, Wuwei bonded logistics center, as well as designated ports for meat, chilled aquatic products, fruits, grain, timber, breeding pigs and automobile vehicles, becoming an important window and platform for our province's opening to the outside world.

At the same time, the designated ports of meat and chilled aquatic products in our province operate stably. The designated supervision site for imported fruits of Lanzhou Zhongchuan airport was completed and put into operation in 2018. Fruits were imported that year, 210 tons of fruits were imported in 2020, and 250 tons of fruits were imported from January to August this year; The designated supervision site for imported grain of Zhongchuan North Railway Station of Lanzhou railway will be completed and put into operation in 2019, with 2820 tons of imported grain that year and 129700 tons of imported grain from January to August this year, realizing rapid growth.

Since the comprehensive bonded zone of Lanzhou new area was closed and operated in December 2015, it has realized the rapid development of "from scratch" and "from small to large". Integrated circuits, wood grain and oil processing and cross-border e-commerce have started one after another, entrusted processing, classified supervision and other businesses have been gradually expanded, and some processing enterprises have been put into operation in the park, It has become an important supporting point for our province's foreign cooperation and exchange and expanding foreign trade.

The reporter learned from the Provincial Department of commerce that in 2019 and 2020, the import and export of comprehensive insurance zone of Lanzhou new area increased by 134% and 48.9% respectively year-on-year. From January to July this year, the import and export reached 4.599 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 3.89 times, accounting for 15.5% of the province's foreign trade from 8.5% in 2020.
