2020 ASEAN (Guiyang one belt, one road) Cultural Tourism Exchange Week opens

The theme of "one belt, one road" and the "Cultural Exchange Week" of ASEAN (Guiyang) in Guiyang on 2020, opened in 17 days in Guiyang, aimed at deepening the cooperation between ASEAN and ASEAN countries, relying on big data science and technology, and building a win-win platform for "digital silk road" cultural tourism.

Since 2018, the exchange week has been successfully held for three times, becoming another important open platform for deepening exchanges and cooperation between Guiyang city and ASEAN countries, following the Guiyang International Forum on ecological civilization and China international big data industry expo.

Guiyang city mayor Chen Yan one belt, one road, and the other countries in ASEAN, and the other countries in Guiyang have established a good cooperative relationship with ASEAN countries and many cities along the "one belt along the way". In 2019, the number of visitors from ASEAN countries to Guiyang in the 2019 increased by 49.9% over the same period last year.

China and ASEAN are comprehensive strategic cooperative partnership. In the first eight months of 2020, the total import and export volume of goods trade between China and ASEAN reached 2.93 trillion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 7%. Chen Dehai, Secretary General of the China ASEAN center, said that the theme of this exchange week is to deepen digital connectivity and build an ideal future, which meets the needs of bilateral cooperation. In recent years, Guiyang city has initially built a relatively complete big data chain. With the help of the exchange week platform, the two sides will expand the cooperation platform through the combination of online and offline forums and exhibitions, and improve the cooperation results.

Since 2020, novel coronavirus pneumonia has affected the global tourism industry. The exchange week also expects all parties to have in-depth exchanges, identify opportunities for cooperation, broaden cooperation areas and jointly promote economic recovery.

Raj Datuk nusirwan, Malaysian ambassador to China, said that Malaysia's tourism industry has been hit hard by the epidemic, and the hotel occupancy rate in March 2020 was only 6%. At present, with the normalization of epidemic prevention and control, it is hoped that the two sides will look for more opportunities for cooperation in tourism.

Chen Yan said that Guiyang is looking forward to working with all parties to deepen practical cooperation in building quality tourism routes, strengthening international people to people exchanges, expanding industrial investment, and strengthening economic and trade exchanges.

With the idea of "big online, micro offline", this Exchange Week created "ASEAN China (Guizhou) resource cooperation digital platform" and innovated online exhibition by adopting the mode of "online + offline" integrated exhibition, attracting more than 560 online and offline enterprises from 39 countries and regions to participate in the exhibition.

During the three-day offline exhibition, 213 enterprises exhibited through the combination of cultural exhibition, tourism promotion and commodity exhibition; the online exhibition will last until the end of December 2020, and 350 enterprises will continue to display more than 1000 kinds of exhibits, including cosmetics, food, tea, etc.

One belt, one road, will be held during the week of the exchange, and the relevant activities will be held in the Guizhou Guiyang ASEAN digital economy and the revival and development of the literary and tourism circles, ASEAN and Guiyang Guiyang all the way.
