Linyi, April 7, 2016 (Linyi China)-- Appraisal Meeting on National Model Cities (Parks) for E-Commerce was hosted by China Electric Commerce Association in Beijing on April 1st. During the meeting, Linyi was awarded the title of National Model City for E-Commerce. In the meanwhile, Linyi Economic & Technological Development Zone was honored as National Model Park for E-Commerce. Both of the titles were first granted to e-commerce-related cities and parks in Shandong Province by report.
According to China Electric Commerce Association, Linyi had been granted the titles of Top Wholesale Trading City of China and Capital of Logistics in China for its booming trade and business and flourishing logistics, providing significant preferential advantages for the city to develop the e-commerce. In particular, the Linyi Municipal Government has been paying close attention to the growth of e-commerce centered on trade, logistics, and typical agricultural products, working actively to optimize official services and develop new models so as to ensure the rapid growth of e-commerce.
based on these efforts, the turnover of e-commerce in 2015 amounted to 110 billion yuan, forcefully promoting Linyi into the Model E-Commerce City of Shandong Province.
