“Note that since Sept. 1 of 2020, Qingdao Customs and Jinan Customs have carried out the pilot of cross-border e-commerce business-to-business export supervision, and the export value of this mode reached 6.34 billion yuan after only four months of operation,” added Shao. In addition, last year, Shandong province achieved the export of 34.34 billion yuan through the way of market procurement trade, up 84.5% year on year. On the basis of the market procurement carried out by the Engineering Materials Market of Shandong Linyi Mall in 2020, Qingdao Jimo International Trade Mall and Yantai Sanzhan Wholesale Market were approved to carry out market procurement, which will also bring new benefits to the rapid development of Shandong's new type of trade.
