HONG KONG, Jan. 7 (Xinhua) -- Hong Kong's foreign currency reserve assets amounted to 491.6 billion U.S. dollars as at the end of December 2020, up from November's 485.7 billion U.S. dollars, the Hong Kong Monetary Authority announced Thursday.
There were no unsettled foreign exchange contracts at end-December 2020 and end-November 2020, according to the monetary authority.
The reserve assets represent about seven times the currency in circulation or 48 percent of Hong Kong dollar M3. Enditem
