In the market of the edible agricultural products: the average wholesale price of 30 kinds of vegetables was 4.23 yuan per kilogram, up 1.4% over the previous week, with the prices of green Chinese onion, asparagus lettuce and lettuce increasing the most by 8.3%, 5.7% and 5.5% respectively. The wholesale price of meat increased in general. Among these, the prices of pork and beef were 20.22 yuan and 53.19 yuan per kilogram, up 0.5% and 0.2% respectively over the previous week; the price of mutton was 49.62 yuan per kilogram, remaining the same as that of the previous week. The wholesale price of edible oil picked up slightly. Among these, the prices of soybean oil and peanut oil increased by 0.3% and 0.1% week on week respectively, and that of rapeseed oil remained steady. The wholesale price of aquatic products continued to fall. Among these, the prices of large hairtail, carp and crucian decreased the most by 1.7%, 1.5% and 0.7% respectively over the previous week. The wholesale price of poultry stopped rising and fell down. Among these, the prices of egg, chicken and duck were 10.36 yuan, 16.29 yuan and 17.27 yuan per kilogram respectively, down 0.4%, 0.1% and 0.1% respectively over the previous week. The wholesale prices of cereals decreased slightly. The price of flour fell by 0.3% and that of rice remained unchanged.
In the market of the production means: the price of basic chemical raw materials increased by 1.2% week on week, with the prices of caustic soda, sulfuric acid and methyl alcohol up 2.9%, 1.4% and 0.1% respectively and that of sodium carbonate down 0.7%. The price of non-ferrous metal increased by 1% over the previous week, with the prices of lead, zinc, aluminum and copper up 3.6%, 2.1%, 1% and 0.6% respectively, while the prices of nickel and tin fell by 2.1% and 0.1% respectively. The price of rubber rose by 1%, with the prices of synthetic rubber and natural rubber up 2.1% and 0.1% respectively. The price of chemical fertilizer rose by 0.1%, with those of urea, NPK, KCL and DAP up 0.2%, 0.2%, 0.1% and 0.1% respectively. The price of steel decreased by 0.1%, among which the prices of screw-thread steel and high-speed wire rod were 4333 yuan and 4442 yuan per ton respectively, down 0.5% and 0.3% respectively, and the prices of hot rolled strip steel and seamless steel tube were 4379 yuan and 5101 yuan per ton respectively, both up 0.4%. The price of coal fell by 0.5%, among which the prices of coking coal, steam coal and blind coal were 742 yuan, 595 yuan and 857 yuan per ton, down 0.8%, 0.5% and 0.3% respectively.
