According to the watchdog of MOFCOM, last week (January 7-January 13), the national market prices of the edible agricultural products remained the same as the previous week and those of the means of production decreased by 0.2% over the previous week.
In the market of the edible agricultural products: the wholesale price of edible oil decreased in general, with the prices of soybean oil, rapeseed oil, and peanut oil down 0.3%, 0.2% and 0.1% respectively. The wholesale price of meat fluctuated slightly. Among these, the price of pork was 20.21 yuan per kilogram, down 2.2% over last week and the prices of beef and mutton were 56.76 yuan and 57.29 yuan per kilogram respectively, up 0.1% and 0.8% respectively over the previous week. The wholesale price of aquatic products remained stable in general. Among these, the prices of grass carp and crucian dropped by 0.4% and 0.3% respectively and the prices of large hairtail, chub and large yellow croaker increased by 1%, 0.2% and 0.1% respectively over the previous week. The wholesale prices of cereals rose slightly, with the prices of flour and rice up by 0.3% and 0.2%. The average wholesale price of 30 kinds of vegetables was 4.28 yuan per kilogram, up 0.5% over the previous week, with the prices of eggplant, winter melon and bitter melon increasing the most by 4.9%, 4.2% and 4% respectively. The wholesale price of poultry decreased rose slightly. Among these, the prices of eggs and chicken were 9.45 and 16.28 yuan per kilogram, up 1.2% and 0.3% over the previous week.
In the market of production means,the price of chemical fertilizer dropped by 0.5%, with those of urea and NPK down 0.6% and 0.1% respectively. The price of basic chemical raw materials dropped by 0.4%, with the prices of sulphuric acid, sodium carbonate and polypropylene down 1.1%, 0.3% and 0.1% respectively and that of methyl alcohol up 1%. The price of steel dropped by 0.3%. Among these, the prices of screw-thread steel, high-speed wire rod and hot rolling strip steel were 4019 yuan, 4087 yuan, and 4091 yuan per ton respectively, down 0.5%, 0.4% and 0.4% respectively. The price of coal dropped by 0.1%, among which the prices of blind coal and coking coal were 886 yuan and 773 yuan per ton, down 0.7% and 0.1% and that of steam coal was 605 yuan per ton, up 0.2%. The price of non-ferrous metal remained stable, with the prices of zinc and aluminum up 0.5% and 0.1% respectively and that of copper down 0.1%. The price of rubber rose by 0.8%, with the prices of natural rubber and synthetic rubber up 1.1% and 0.4%.
