The 2018 China International Trade Facilitation Forum, jointly hosted by China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) and the People’s Government of Shenzhen, was held in Shenzhen on October 11. CCPIT Vice Chairman Zhang Shenfeng, Deputy Director-General of the World Trade Organization Yi Xiaozhun and Deputy Mayor of Shenzhen Wang Lixin attended and addressed the forum.
Zhang Shenfeng said, trade facilitation has effectively promoted the global trade development. Through bilateral and multilateral free trade agreement negotiation and policy arrangement, governments of many countries have simplified procedures in customs clearance and bank clearing to facilitate enterprises, which has largely contributed to the global economic prosperity. CCPIT is dedicated to promoting trade facilitation, speaking for the business community, participating in the mapping of international trade order so as to ensure the healthy development of global outbound trade.
Around 400 delegates from governments, international organizations, industry associations, exporters and importers were in attendance.
