Vice Chairman of China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) Chen Zhou met with Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Tajikistan Sharif Said in Dushanbe on October 11.
Both sides agreed to strengthen mechanism cooperation, deepen cooperation under the framework of the Belt and Road Initiative, and further promote economic and trade cooperation between China and Tajikistan.
Chen Zhou said, CCPIT and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Tajikistan have maintained friendly cooperation relations for a long period of time. He hoped both sides can deepen bilateral economic and trade ties, enhance coordination within multilateral framework such as the Board of SCO Business Council, and organize more B2B match-making meetings, forums and exhibitions.
Sharif said his agency is willing to further cooperation with CCPIT in key sectors, including agriculture, food industry and infrastructure, and promote regional economic development through the Board of SCO Business Council.
