China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) and Russian Unio of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs (RSPP) have agreed to enhance cooperation to better serve enterprises of both countries.
Both sides made the agreement as CCPIT Chairperson Gao Yan and President of RSPP Alexander Shokhin held a meeting in Moscow on October 24.
Shokhin welcomed Gao Yan to visit Russia after she assumed her position as CCPIT’s chairperson. He conveyed his gratitude for CCPIT’s support for RSPP, saying that both sides shall enhance cooperation in energy, resources, mechanics, automobile industry, further cooperation in electronic devices, robots and artificial intelligence, and promote cooperation among small and medium-sized enterprises by favor of the mechanism of both sides. He said the cooperation can largely contribute to the matching of China’s Belt and Road Initiative and Russia’s Eurasian Economic Unio strategy.
Gao Yan hailed the practical cooperation between China and Russia saying that the RSPP is an essential cooperation partner of CCPIT and RSPP has contributed a lot to boosting Sino-Russian economic and trade ties. CCPIT is willing to foster cooperation with RSPP to better serve the business communities of both sides.
Meanwhile, a cooperation agreement was renewed between CCPIT and RSPP after the meeting.
