A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on China-Japan third-party markets was signed between China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) and Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO) in Beijing on October 25.
The signing of the MoU was witnessed by CCPIT Vice Chairman Chen Zhou and Executive VP of JETRO Yasukazu Irino.
Chen Zhou said, it is an important consensus reached by Chinese and Japanese leaders for both countries to launch cooperation in the third-party markets. The trade promotion agencies are responsible for providing supports and services for enterprises of both countries. Chen said he hoped CCPIT and JETRO can seize opportunities to enhance information sharing, and innovate cooperation patterns in a bid to set up more platforms for Chinese and Japanese enterprises and explore the third-party markets.
Yasukazu said, JETRO is willing to foster cooperation with CCPIT to host more trade and investment promotion events, and apply management experience and innovation capability of Chinese and Japanese enterprises into the third-party markets so as to achieve mutual benefit and win-win development.
