The China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) said it will comprehensively issue the certificate of origin under the China-ASEAN Free Trade Agreement starting from December 19.
CCPIT Vice Chairman Lu Pengqi made the announcement at a work conference regarding the certificate of origin in Nanning, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region.
Lu Pengqi said, the issue of certificate of origin under the China-ASEAN free trade agreement plays a significant role in promoting regional economic integration and facilitating enterprises to develop globally. The issue agencies shall speak for the business communities, expand the range of service, enhance cooperation, participate in the making of international order and contribute to the global economic governance.
An evaluation research report on China-ASEAN free trade agreement, which was jointly compiled by CCPIT Commercial Certification Center and Nanking University, was also issued at the work conference.
More than 190 delegates from provincial trade promotion agencies, customs, commerce department and academia circle participated in the conference.
