Department of International Relations

The Department of International Relations is responsible for Council’s cooperation contacts with international business organizations, trade and investment promotion agencies as well as various business associations. It oversees and implements the Council’s international development strategies and annual work plan. It assists counterpart organizations to set up offices in China and maintains working relations.

It organizes and coordinates visits by prominent business leaders as well as exchanges of trade missions, including those led by Chinese and foreign state leaders.

The Department manages the Council’s foreign affairs and guides the operation of the Council’s overseas representative offices. It also supervises the Council’s cooperation programs with Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan.
