为银杏科植物银杏Ginkgo biloba L的干燥叶加工制成的提取物。银杏叶提取物中的主要成分为萜类内酯化合物，具有强大的抗氧化与自由基能力，因此在临床上具有很好的应用。随着对银杏叶成分、药理作用、制剂、临床应用范围的研究领域进一步扩大，银杏叶在传统治疗的作用越来越重要。其对心血管疾病、神经系统疾病、高脂血症以及感染、损伤等都有很好的疗效。现研究表明，银杏叶提取物具有广泛的药理作用，如肝脏保护作用、抗毒作用、抗肿瘤作用、抗辐射作用、肾脏保护等作用以及抗氧化、促智作用、抗焦虑及镇静作用、调节血脂和减轻缺血再灌注损伤作用等，其中心血管系统和血液系统的保护作用尤为当前的研究热点。银杏叶提取物能降低心血管系统疾病发生率，药理机制有：①增加人血浆抗氧化能力；②减少血检的形成；③降低血清TG；④扩张血管，增加血流量，改善缺血组织代谢；⑤在心肌缺血再灌注中清除氧自由基。
Ginkgo biloba extract is prepared from dried ginkgo leaves. The main component of the powdered ginkgo extract is terpenoids lactone compound, which has strong antioxidant and free radical capabilities, therefore, powdered ginkgo extract has good efficacy clinically. With the deepening of research on Ginkgo element, pharmacological action, preparations and clinical application, Ginkgo leaves have more and more important role in traditional treatment, and they have good efficacy on treating cardiovascular disease, nervous system disease, hyperlipemia, infection and damage. Research shows that powdered ginkgo extract has extensive pharmacologic actions, such as liver protection, toxic action, antineoplastic action, radiation-proof effect, kidney protection, oxidation resistance, intelligence promotion, anti-anxiety, sedation, blood lipids regulation, easing ischemia reperfusion injury, etc. Currently, there are many researches in the protection role of powdered Ginkgo extract in protecting cardiovascular system and blood system. Powered ginkgo extract can decrease the incidence of cardiovascular system diseases, and its pharmacological mechanisms include: ① enhancing people’s plasma antioxidant capacity; ② anti-thrombus; ③ lowering serum TG; ④ expanding blood vessel, increasing blood flow, improving ischemia tissue metabolism; ⑤eliminating oxygen free radicals in myocardial ischemia reperfusion.
银杏叶中的成分比较复杂，化学成分主要有黄酮苷类（flavonoid glycosides）、萜类内酯（terpene lactone）、聚异戊烯醇类（polyprenols）、6-羟基犬尿喹啉酸（6-hydroxykynurenic acid, 6HKA）、有机酸、银杏酚酸类（phenolic acids）及烷基酚、烷基酚酸、又称银杏酸（ginkgolic acids）、4’-甲氧基吡哆醇（4’-O-methypyridoxine）等。银杏叶中黄酮类化合物由黄酮及其苷、双黄酮、儿茶素3类组成。
Ginkgo leaves have complicated components, and main chemical components include flavonoid glycosides, terpenes, polyprenols, polyprenols, 6-hydroxykynurenic acid (6HKA), organic acid, phenolic acids, alkylphenol, alkylphenolic acids (also named ginkgolic acid), 4’-O-methypyridoxine, etc. The flavonoids compounds in ginkgo leaves include flavone and baicalin, biflavone and catechinic acid.
本品按干燥品计，含总黄酮醇苷不得少于24.0％。含萜类内酯以白果内酯(C15H18O8)、银杏内酯A(C20H24O9)、银杏内酯B(C20H24O10)和银杏内酯C(C20H24O11)的总量计，不得少于6.0％。
The total flavonoid glycosides may not be less than 24.0% on dried basis. The content of bilobalide (C15H18O8) calculated as the sum of Ginkgolide A (C20H24O9), Ginkgolide B (C20H24O10) and Ginkgolide C (C20H24O11) may not be less than 6.0%.
