单板，又叫面皮、木皮，饰面板，英文名Veneer。主要用于生产胶合板、细木工板、集成板等人造板材的贴面装饰。起到美观大方，掩盖瑕疵，板材整体化的作用。
单板是消耗大量劳动力的产品，这种产品在发展中国家比较多。就产量方面来说，中国的产量最大。世界上大多数生产胶合板的采购商都到临沂去买单板。
单板分旋切和刨切两种，人造板用的单板多为旋切。生产单板用的原木大多从东南亚地区的巴布亚新几内亚、非洲等地区进口。主要品种有山桂花、奥古曼、红橄榄、黄桐、榄仁木、冰糖果、黄芸香、柳安、大白木、铅笔柏、第伦桃、贝壳杉、桦木、松木等等。
面皮的主要规格为4'x8'，4'x7',3'x7',3'x6'英尺；厚度从0.10mm到1mm；等级：甲乙面、丙面、次丙、整张、丁眼、干疤；出口等级分为A、B、C、D、E五个等级。大多数胶合板及细木工板厂家将甲乙面和丙面作为板材的正面，将次丙、整张、丁眼、干疤、作为多层板的底面。
在交易的时候，在国内一般都是按照张为单位，同国外客户交易有按张计算的，也有按照立方计算的。

The main sizes are (width x length) 4'x8', 4'x7', 3'x7', 3'x6'ft, and thickness from 0.10mm to 1mm,seller always needs 0.20mm, 0.22mm,0.25mm,0.28mm, 0.30mm, 0.35mm……
Grade: The buyer markets in India, Southeast Asia, Mid-east are need C grade or D grade for plywood face/ back veneer in general. But some high-end markets need B grade or A grade, that’s decorative face veneer which used in luxury interior decoration.
Veneer usually pricing by piece, or by CBM, and package by pallets. For example, the TOP selling one 4x8ft, 18 pallets can be loaded in 40’ft HC (high container).
