Detailed management regulations and restrictions on exhibitions

Exhibitions all over the world have various management regulations and restrictions on exhibition design and construction. Many regulations and restrictions are related to the maintenance of public safety and public order. Do you understand?

(1) Regulations on exhibition stands. Height restriction: the exhibition has restrictions on the exhibition shelves and exhibits, especially for double-layer stands, stairs, and the structure extending outward from the top of the exhibition stand. The height limit is not often prohibited. If the relevant procedures are handled and the technical standards are met, it is possible to be allowed to build super high exhibition stands and arrange exhibits. Opening restrictions: in many exhibitions, totally closed booths are prohibited. If the booths are closed, the exhibition will lose its display function, and visitors will complain. However, the exhibitor needs to close the office, negotiation room, warehouse, etc., so the coordination method is to stipulate that a certain proportion of the exhibition area is open to the outside. This proportion is generally 70%, allowing less than 30% of the area to be closed.

(2) Regulations on exhibition equipment. Restrictions on the materials of exhibition shelves and equipment: in many countries, the exhibition requires the use of fire-resistant materials, plastic and hazardous chemicals. Regulations on electrical appliances: most of the national exhibitions have strict regulations on electrical appliances, and the technical indicators of electrical appliances used must comply with local regulations and requirements.

(3) Provisions on the flow of people. Corridor restrictions: mainly the provisions and restrictions on the width of the corridor. In order to ensure the smooth flow of people, the exhibition stipulates the width of the corridor, and forbids the exhibitors' booths, props and works from occupying the corridor. TV and retail goods often cause congestion. Therefore, there are corresponding requirements, such as the TV must not face the aisle, and the counter must be a certain distance from the corridor.

(4) Regulations on fire control. Fire protection environment: if it is a large-scale exhibition stand, emergency passageway or exit must be set and signs must be set according to the area of exhibition hall and the expected number of visitors. Fire fighting equipment: must be equipped with fire fighting equipment. Personnel requirements: some exhibitions require the booth to appoint a person in charge of fire protection, and require all booth personnel to know the fire regulations and emergency exits.

(5) Regulations and restrictions on exhibits. It is mainly about the regulation of abnormal exhibits, including ultra-high and overweight exhibits. As long as appropriate measures are taken, they can be solved in general. For example, as long as the height of the exhibition hall is enough, we can discuss with the exhibition hall to solve the problem of overweight exhibits. We can use ground pallet to disperse unit load. The more common and difficult problem to solve is the size of the unloading gate of the exhibition hall, which is a natural limit. Super high and overweight exhibits usually need to enter the museum before the exhibits of other exhibitors. If you have any problems that are difficult to solve, you should discuss with the exhibition organizers or exhibition hall owners as soon as possible. Such exhibits are usually of promotional value to exhibitions, so organizers are willing to actively assist. Some exhibitions will restrict the operation of machines due to safety considerations. For weapons, there are usually special regulations, and the procedures are very troublesome.

(6) Environmental regulations. Volume limit: the background music is arranged by the exhibition organizers, and the volume of the audio-visual equipment of the exhibitor must be controlled within the range that does not affect the surrounding exhibitors. Color restrictions: if the exhibition organizers want to achieve a coordinated effect, they often put forward color requirements. The exhibitor is required to use a basic tone or title tone. The exhibition may also propose the font type and size of the title, which is mostly relaxed. As long as the exhibitor abides by the regulations and does not interfere with the surrounding booths (such as too much noise), the exhibitor can design the shape of the booth, place the exhibits and use colors at will.

(7) Labor regulations. Many countries (especially developed countries) stipulate that exhibition workers must be trade unio registered workers. Exhibitors are not allowed to do it themselves. In New York, for example, if the exhibitor picks up a hammer and wants to drive a nail, the local workers will seize the hammer and stop you from working. It sounds absurd that Americans deprive you of your "right to work", but it is a fact and must be observed.

(8) Relevant procedures. Most exhibitions require the exhibitor to submit the design for approval, and require the exhibitor to go through the procedures before construction.
