Date:2025-11-18  Hits:9

At noon on January 13th, the X8485 train loaded with auto parts, plastic components, and cardboard sets departed from Chongqing's Jihetun Central Station. This marked the first time that a full-time schedule train between China, Laos, and Thailand was operated in Chongqing, which will now run at a fixed frequency of two trains per week.

During the opening ceremony of the 2025 Land-Sea New Corridor Economic Development Forum held on the 13th, the state railway group officially released the first batch of full-time schedules for trains between China, Laos, and Thailand. On the same day, the first train with a full-time schedule departed from Chongqing. The fully scheduled train between China, Laos, and Thailand started its journey from Chongqing's Jihetun Central Station, passing through the Muan Port, Mohan Port, and Langkho Port before reaching its final destination at Madapu Station in Thailand.

In the initial phase of operation, two trains will be dispatched weekly. The train departs from Chongqing's Jihetun Central Station at 12:49 PM, covering a total distance of 2921 kilometers and taking 95 hours and 11 minutes to complete the journey. The release of the full-time schedule for trains between China, Laos, and Thailand signifies that ASEAN Express services are becoming more efficient and diverse. Organizing these trains according to a fixed time, fixed route, and fixed schedule will provide foreign trade enterprises with superior cross-border transportation guarantees.

Yang Bin, chairman of China Railway Container Transport Co. Ltd. said: This train is not only a result of close cooperation among the three countries' railways but also a vivid practice in building high-quality land-sea new corridors in the west. The launch of this train will inject strong momentum into promoting economic and trade exchanges between China, Laos, and Thailand.
