The Ministry of International Relations and Trade in Namibia issued a statement on the 5th saying that the upcoming China-Africa Economic and Trade Expo is an important platform for economic cooperation between China and Africa and plays an important role in promoting sustainable development and sustained economic growth.
The statement said that from June 12 to 15, 2025, Namibia will participate as one of the guests of the host country to participate in the 4th China-Africa Economic and Trade Expo held in Changsha City, Hunan Province, China. The China-Africa Economic and Trade Expo is an important platform for China and Africa's economic cooperation, providing Namibian entrepreneurs and investors with opportunities to communicate with Chinese business leaders.
The statement quoted Namibia's Minister of International Relations and Trade Selma Ahipara-Musavii as saying that the Nazi side recognized the important role of multilateral cooperation platforms such as the China-Africa Cooperation Forum and the China-Africa Economic and Trade Expo in promoting sustainable development and economic growth. The Nazi side looks forward to exchanges with Chinese partners and other African countries, sharing knowledge and exploring investment opportunities.
It is reported that Ahipara Mousaviy will lead a delegation from Namibia to attend related activities. The Namibia delegation will be committed to deepening cooperation with China and promoting economic diversification, infrastructure construction, sustainable resource management and regional integration.
