In the face of practical challenges, many ambassadors to China emphasized that strengthening international cooperation and promoting globalization are still the key methods to effectively respond to global challenges such as the epidemic. He also called on all countries to abandon differences and strengthen cooperation, gather more strength to inject vitality into globalization, and promote the recovery of the global economy and society.

"Achieving a stable global recovery is the most important task after the epidemic." Indonesian Ambassador to China Zhou Haoli said that the epidemic has increased the imbalance in the world, and no country can recover by its own strength. All countries need to unite and cooperate to tide over the difficulties.

In order to ensure that all countries can achieve recovery and development after the epidemic, UN Resident Coordinator Chang Qide called on all countries to unite and reconstruct the development of multilateralism, and looked forward to working with China in the context of the "14th Five-Year Plan" and "Double Carbon" goals. Continue to cooperate. He pointed out that no one should be left behind. This is the fundamental principle of sustainable development, and it is also the commitment made by all UN member states to reach a joint declaration on sustainable development.

Facts have proved that globalization is a historical necessity for world economic development and an inevitable choice for all countries to achieve development and prosperity. Many countries are taking active actions to promote globalization.

Signing a free trade agreement with the UK, upgrading the New Zealand-China free trade agreement, negotiating a free trade agreement with the EU... New Zealand is promoting market opening and trade flows through measures such as strengthening bilateral and regional cooperation. New Zealand's ambassador to China, Freeman, said that maintaining the rules of the multilateral trading system is very important to all countries and requires the joint efforts of all countries.

South Africa is also actively seeking stronger practices of multilateralism and effective inclusive global governance. Among them, the United Nations, G20 and BRICS cooperation are all important multilateral cooperation mechanisms. Xie Shengwen, South African Ambassador to China, believes that the BRICS countries have always played an important role in addressing global challenges, coordinating support for multilateralism, promoting fairer international trade, global growth and development agendas. For example, the New Development Bank of BRICS has allocated a lot of resources to deal with the epidemic, mitigate climate change, and provide funds for infrastructure construction.

With a view to achieving stronger and sustainable global development, Xie Shengwen suggested that all countries promote multilateral cooperation, maintain multilateral rule frameworks, strengthen macroeconomic coordination, mitigate climate change, and jointly promote the building of an open, low-carbon and innovative world economy.

Thailand's ambassador to China, Xi Samuel, said that as the rotating presidency of APEC this year, Thailand will be committed to promoting the diversity of regional cooperation, digital development and the use of clean energy. "We hope to promote the use of APEC business travel cards to enter and exit the country, so that business people in the Asia-Pacific region can travel to and from other countries without applying for a visa; promote the mutual recognition of vaccination certificates between countries; and promote RCEP to achieve wider regional coverage."

"The more there are differences, the more dialogue and mutual understanding are needed to avoid prejudice and misunderstanding." Du Aojie said that in the new stage of globalization development, all parties need to conduct frank and open dialogues to maintain common rules and listen to different parties.
